The Amazing Grace Coffee House

The Amazing Grace Cafe is a non-smoking, alcohol-free performance venue for middle school and high school students situated inside Lutheran Church of Our Saviour.  We are located 1 half mile east of Courthouse Road on Hull Street Road.

We are focused on providing bakery and coffee, snacks and sodas in a casual live music setting.  We are building a great place to hang out in Chesterfield County.  Amazing Grace is focused on providing an atmosphere where young people feel comfortable to meet their friends, study, or sit at a table, drink coffee, and read a good book.

Micah Watson Band is coming to Christ The King church in Richmond 8/21. This is a special event that Amazing Grace wants everyone to know about.

Micah was born in northern Georgia and spent most of his early life traveling with his missionary parents. Much of his music has been forged through those experiences and years of leading worship. Micah and his wife have been in several bands, but this group has larger goals than just playing music. The Micah Watson Band wants to help bring Christ to Inida. In fact, they want you to consider coming with.

The Daughters and Sons project is about raising the money and awareness to make this happen.

Come see The Micah Watson Band at 5:00 for dinner and meet the band. And be sure to stay for the 7:30 show.

Hi, I am Grace. A few years ago I dreamt about a place where people could come together and enjoy live music. Not big names in a big club, just something where you can sit with friends and enjoy Christian fellowship, a bite to eat and some live music. I have worked with my friends at Lutheran Church of Our Saviour to make my dream come true.

This is a special concert being hosted by our dear friends at Christ the King. You may hear a little U2 influence in their sound courtesy of Joe and his affection for that Irish band (and their bass player, Adam C).

Before the concert (which is open to all), we thought we would make a special invitation to the Richmond Area Lutheran Youth and friends to come at 5:00 p.m. for a picnic cookout, some mixers, and a chance to meet the band. Any individual/group that would like to come, please bring your own food/meat to grill, camp/beach chairs and/or a blanket, and $5 per person. The money will go towards the support of the band.

This is a great place to practice your live performance skills in a low pressure environment.  We are always looking for guitarists, singers and keyboard players to perform for 2 twenty-minute sets.  The music can be covers of songs you know or your own original music.  While spiritual music is great, we are open to all styles that are consistent with our coffee house surroundings.
